Excellent! Good reading material Mike, pastor Brett. I am currently reading through the New Testament commentary by John MacArthur, the Prodigal by John, my prayer partner and I are doing. "Slave" and the workbook. The Golden Nuggets of C.H. Spurgeon is an excellent read also. This year concerning the bible we started with the books that consists of one chapter and read it for thirty days then we progressed to the four and five chapter books. Boy! You talk about training and disciplining the mind! But I believe its the best method we have tried so far to help us what the bible actually says. We learned of this technique from Grace to You web sight. Anyway, I enjoyed this blog and also Pastor Ball's blog who happens to be my pastor!

Excellent blog! I'm actually working on reading more as well. I've read a book recently called "Disciplines of a Godly Man" by R. Kent Hughes. It was an amazing book that I could possibly dub the "Handbook for Christian Men." I definitely recommend it.

"...I'm working on a fifth..."
Loved it!

I've read Forgotten God and Crazy Love by Chan. Radical and recently Radical Together by Platt. Don't Waste Your Life, God's Passion for His Glory and another book I can't remember the title of by Piper. The Jesus You Can't Ignore and Slave by MacArthur. The End for Which God Created the World by Edwards (actually re-printed in the 2nd half of one of the Piper books above). Think by Zacharias...as well as his answer to Sam Harris's Letter to a Christian Nation. I think I've read others but I don't remember. I'm currently reading In God we Trust by Steve Ham and have MacArthurs book about the Prodigal Son waiting in the wings...

I also like reading sermons...are your sermons in print? Hint, hint!!!!
